Artist – Physics Enthusiast – Lover of Ice Cream

I paint in acrylics. And draw. And sometimes I sculpt. (“why does your mom have a jar of clay skulls on her desk?”)

It’s just me here. I don’t have a staff. I draw. I paint. I clean the studio. I spill paint. I scrape paint. I vacuum. I eat ice cream. I paint more. I wonder if the red glob on my hand is paint or blood. I answer the phone. I read the emails. I explain to my son that it’s totally normal to have a jar of clay skulls on your desk when you’re an artist.

This site is about me promising myself to get more personal with the world and share the garden that lives in my head.

I have a degree in Mathematics with a minor in Studio Art (shoutout Elon University) and have logged a ton of hours pushing paint around on canvas.

I’m a native of Annapolis, Maryland and currently live in Holly Springs, North Carolina – just outside of Raleigh.
